Be Bold In Editing Pages

Wikis are a great experiment in the power of open communities building content. A core principle that we here at Wikispaces have borrowed from Wikipedia is to be bold in updating pages.

Being bold means that the entire community benefits from many hands making corrections, fixing spelling mistakes, clarifying structure, and cleaning up page layout. It doesn't matter if your speciality is kendo and you're browsing a page about buffalo wings - be bold and correct the problems you see. We'll all be better for it.

But be polite, especially when changing presentation of facts or long, complex articles. Being bold in this context may mean adding a discussion item suggesting a content change or addition before you make it.
